Key activities to implement in the action month for children in 2024 in Vietnam 

To ensure that the Departments of Education and Training of Vietnam effectively implement the action month for children, the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam provides guidance on the content and activities for the action month for children in 2024. To be specific:

* Theme: “Practical actions, prioritizing resources for children.”

* Main activities to be implemented

- The Department of Education and Training of Vietnam, in coordination with the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, and related units, will implement following tasks:

+ Develop a specific plan to implement and respond to the action month for children in 2024; promote and expand movements, models, and initiatives for the care, education, and protection of children.

+ Launch the action month for children in 2024: Depending on the conditions of each Department of Education and Training, organize an inaugural ceremony or simultaneously implement specific, practical activities that align with the theme of the action month for children in 2024, starting from June 01, 2024.

+ Develop and implement a communication campaign for the action month for children with messages: Practical actions, prioritizing resources for children; Ensuring children's rights must be at the center of national development policies and strategies; The entire nation cares for, educates, and protects children; Strengthening the care, education, and protection of children for a prosperous and happy national development; Hotline 111 - receives information at all times, protects children everywhere; Mental health care for the comprehensive development of children; Preventing accidents and injuries to ensure children's right to life; Listening to children to care for, educate, and protect them.

+ Mobilize businesses, organizations, and individuals to support, assist children, and build facilities (schools, classrooms, boarding houses, libraries, playgrounds...) for children.

- Implementation period: From June 01, 2024, to June 30, 2024.

* Prepare a report on the results of the action month for children in 2024: Units will prepare reports and send them to the Ministry of Education and Training (via the Department of Physical Education) by July 15, 2024, for compilation and reporting as required.
