Karaoke and nightclub establishments in Vietnam must have at least 1 fire extinguisher/50m2

Below is the remarkable specified in Circular 147/2020/TT-BCA on fire safety and rescue measures for karaoke and nightclub establishments in Vietnam.

According to Vietnam's Circular 147/2020/TT-BCA, karaoke and nightclub establishments are required to have at least 1 fire extinguisher/50m2, of which:

Powder cylinders with a minimum mass of extinguishing agent of 6 kg; or
Gas cylinders with a minimum mass of extinguishing agent of 6 kg; or
Water-based fire extinguishers have a minimum volume of extinguishant of 6 liters.

In addition, karaoke and nightclub establishments in Vietnam must also be equipped with filter masks on all floors. The number of masks on a floor is calculated according to the number of people present at the same time in the room with the largest area of that floor with the norm of 01 mask/person. The filter mask is placed in the vehicle cabinet on the escape corridor on each floor.
