Issuing the Plan for implementing the Militia and Self-Defense, National Defense and Security Education Tasks in 2024 of the Ministry of Justice of Vietnam

The objectives and requirements of the Plan for the Implementation of Militia and Self-Defense Work, National Defense and Security Education in 2024 by the Ministry of Justice of Vietnam include:

* Objectives

- Implement the assigned tasks promptly, with quality and effectiveness as per Decree 168/2018/ND-CP dated December 28, 2018, by the Government of Vietnam on national defense work in ministries, central and local agencies, and the implementation guidance documents of the Ministry of National Defense.

- Enhance the awareness and responsibility of officials, public employees, and workers of the Ministry of Justice in enforcing the Law on National Defense; Law on Militia and Self-Defense; Law on Mobilization Reserve Force; and Law on National Defense and Security Education; the implementation guidance documents; and directives from competent authorities.

* Requirements

- Adhere closely to the functions and tasks of the Ministry of Justice and the assigned tasks related to the implementation of Militia and Self-Defense Work, National Defense and Security Education in 2024.

- Ensure unified direction from the Party Committee, Ministry Leadership; and close, regular, and effective coordination between related units in implementing and organizing the Plan, linking it to the roles and responsibilities of the heads of the leading unit and the coordinating unit in executing the assigned tasks.

- Specifically determine the tasks, deadlines, timeline for completion, and the responsibilities of the related units in organizing and implementing the Plan, ensuring promptness, unity, efficiency, and effectiveness.

- Regularly inspect, supervise, guide, and promptly resolve any difficulties or obstacles during the implementation process of the Plan.
