Issuance of 04 new administrative procedures related to rice cultivation land in Vietnam

The new administrative procedures related to rice cultivation land in Vietnam are announced in Decision 3085/QD-BNN-TT as follows:

- 02 provincial-level administrative procedures

+ Name of administrative procedure: Appraisal of the topsoil usage plan for projects with specialized rice cultivation land covering two or more districts

Implementing agency: Provincial People's Committee.

+ Name of administrative procedure: Payment to supplement the lost area of specialized rice cultivation land or to increase the effectiveness of rice cultivation land usage for projects with specialized rice cultivation land covering two or more districts.

Implementing agency: Provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment.

- 02 district-level administrative procedures:

+ Name of administrative procedure: Appraisal of the topsoil usage plan for projects with specialized rice cultivation land in the district

Implementing agency: District People's Committee.

+ Name of administrative procedure: Payment to supplement the lost area of specialized rice cultivation land or to increase the effectiveness of rice cultivation land usage for projects with specialized rice cultivation land in the district

Implementing agency: District Department of Natural Resources and Environment.

In addition to announcing the 04 new administrative procedures, Decision 3085/QD-BNN-TT also mentions 01 administrative procedure related to rice cultivation land that has been amended and supplemented. To be specific:

- Name of the amended and supplemented administrative procedure: crop and livestock structure shift occurring on rice cultivation land;

- Number of administrative procedure records: 1.008004;

- Name of the legal document stipulating the amended and supplemented content: Decree 112/2024/ND-CP detailing regulations on rice cultivation land;

- Implementing agency: Commune People's Committee.

More details can be found in Decision 3085/QD-BNN-TT which takes effect in Vietnam from September 13, 2024.

At the same time, the content announced in order number 1 Section C, part I (List of administrative procedures) and the specific content of this administrative procedure in part II of the appendix issued with Decision 151/QD-BNN-TT in 2020 on the announcement of newly issued administrative procedures, replaces the field of Crop Production under the management function of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam.
