Integration of marital status verification on the VNeID application in Vietnam

The Prime Minister of Vietnam has requested the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam to take the lead, cooperate with related ministries and central authorities to propose the implementation and integration of documents currently managed, enhance data enrichment, and be ready to expand and integrate new utilities on the VNeID application (such as determining marital status, notifications on civil judgment execution, information on banking, telecommunications, healthcare, education...).

Simultaneously, in conjunction with the Office of the Government of Vietnam, it will take the lead, cooperate with ministries, agencies, and localities to fulfill tasks assigned by the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam related to the National Public Service Portal as per Official Dispatch 8871/VPCP-KSTT of 2024; point b, clause 5 of Official Telegram 131/CD-TTg of 2024, ensuring the stable and continuous operation of the National Public Service Portal without disruption.

Also, in Official Telegram 133/CD-TTg, the Prime Minister of Veitnam has also required the following ministries to carry out key tasks in the implementation of Scheme 06:

- The Ministries of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Justice, Natural Resources and Environment, Health, Industry and Trade are urged to promptly complete and report on the results of the connection and integration of data into the National Public Service Portal for 09 administrative procedures currently behind schedule according to Scheme 06, as per Decision 422/QD-TTg of 2022 and Decision 206/QD-TTg of 2024 by December 2024.

- The Ministry of Home Affairs will report to the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam on the status and results of advisory tasks to improve the mechanism and policies for attracting and utilizing talent and high-quality human resources for the development of high technology in general, and the management and operation staff of the national data center, in particular, by December 2024.

Intensify public service inspection, including inspection and supervision of tasks implementing Scheme 06.
