Instructions on application for the high school graduation exam in Vietnam

- For those who have completed the high school program in the year the exam is held, the application includes:

+ 02 registration forms for the same contest;

+ The original, a certified copy of the original, a copy issued from the master book, or a copy enclosed with the original to compare (collectively, a copy) of high school transcripts or high school continuing education records or the student's test card in the form of self-study for continuing education issued by the principal of the high school;

+ Valid certificates to enjoy priority and incentive regimes (if any);

+ Photo file (or 02 4x6 photos in the case of direct registration) of citizen identification, taken no more than 06 months before the application deadline.

- For those who have completed the high school program but have not taken the high school graduation exam or have taken the exam but have not graduated from high school in previous years, in addition to the profile components of the person who has completed the high school program in the year the exam is held, there are also:

+ A certificate from the high school where the candidate is in grade 12 or where the candidate registers for the academic ranking exam for students who are ranked with poor academic performance as prescribed at Point b, Clause 2, Article 12 of the Regulation on high school graduation exam promulgated together with Circular 15/2020/TT-BGDDT;

+ A copy of the junior high school diploma;

+ Certificate of reservation score (if any) certified by the principal of the high school where the candidate took the exam last year.

- For candidates who have graduated from high school, registration documents include:

+ 02 registration forms for the same contest;

+ High school diploma (copy);

+ 02 photos of size 4x6 cm;

- For candidates who have graduated from high school, registration documents include:

+ 02 registration forms for the same contest;

+ 02 photos of size 4x6 cm;

+ A copy of the junior high school diploma, a copy of the secondary school diploma, and a copy of the study book or transcript of high school cultural subjects according to the provisions of the Law on Education and current guiding documents of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam.

When the deadline for submitting the application for registration is over, if any mistake or error is detected, the candidate must promptly notify the principal of the high school or the head of the unit where the exam is registered, or notify the head of the test site on the day of taking the test for corrections and additions.
