On November 3, 2023, the Ministry of Education and Training issued Official Dispatch6133/BGDDT-QLCL on the organization of the National High School Student Selection Exam for the 2023-2024 school year in Vietnam.
To organize the exam well, the Ministry of Education and Training guides exam participants on the following contents:
- January 5, 2024: Written exam in Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature, History, Geography, English, Russian, French, Chinese and computer programming exam in Informatics.
- January 6, 2024: Written exam in Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology; Speaking test in English, Russian, French, Chinese and computer programming test in Informatics.
- Circumcision exam time in the exam room: 7:50 a.m. Start time of each exam session: 8:00 a.m.
According to the 2006 High School Education Program and guidance on implementing the specialized program for specialized subjects at the high school level, Official Dispatch 10803/BGDĐT-GDTrH dated December 16, 2009 of the Ministry of Education and Training.
- Codes of participating units in the National Student Selection Exam in the Appendix attached to this Official Dispatch.
- Before November 15, 2023, the Exam Councils send the exam registration form (scanned copy) and data file in Appendix 1 of the HSG exam software to the Department of Quality Management.
- Before December 5, 2023: Exam-taking units belonging to the Multiple Examination Council send the Exam Registration Form, List of candidates registered to take the exam and necessary data to the exam-taking unit where the Multiple Exam Examining Council is located.
- Before December 6, 2023, the Exam Councils send the List of candidates registered to take the exam (hard copy) and the data file in Appendix 1 of the HSG exam software to the Department of Quality Management.
- Before December 20, 2023, the Department of Quality Management will notify exam-taking units about the organization of Examination Councils and the mobilization of personnel to participate in Examination Councils.
The person appointed to proctor the Computer Science and Foreign Language exams must be a teacher teaching that subject at the high school level; In cases of necessity, junior high school teachers can be used for foreign language subjects.
In addition, teachers assigned to proctor foreign language subjects must be proficient in using computers and audio-visual devices to meet exam proctoring tasks.
- Before December 25, 2023, participating units will send a list of personnel selected to join the Examination Council to ensure sufficient numbers, correct composition, and full compliance with the requirements prescribed in Clause 2, Article 8 of the Examination Regulations to the participating units according to the dispatch of the Department of Quality Management.
- 15 days before the exam date, if you have not received the exam paper or exam bag, the exam unit where the Exam Council is located must contact the Department of Quality Management for timely handling.
- Prepare a power source: The exam unit where the Examination Council is located must prepare a backup power source with sufficient capacity and voltage for the Examination Council to use.
