Recently, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam has just issued the Official Dispatch No. 98/LĐTBXH-NCC on guidelines for giving gifts of the President of Vietnam on the Tan Suu Lunar New Year 2021.
According to the Official Dispatch No. 98/LĐTBXH-NCC, entities specified at Point b Clause 2 Article 1 of the Decision No. 07/QD-CTN of the President of Vietnam, specifically representatives of martyrs' relatives, may receive gifts from the President as follows:
- The representative of the martyr's relatives is the only person surviving among all the martyrs' relatives shall receive 01 gift. In case the representative of the martyr's relatives is also the recipient of gifts according to the provisions of Clause 1 and Point a Clause 2 Article 1 of the Decision No. 07/QD-CTN, then appoint the representative of the remaining relatives of the martyr to receive 01 gifts for the representatives of the martyrs' relatives;
- In case a martyr's relative has only one survivor and that only representative is subject to gift giving as prescribed at Point a Clause 1 and Point a Clause 2 Article 1 of the Decision No. 07/QD-CTN, that person will receive an additional gift for the representative of the martyr's relatives;
- In case the martyr's relatives have 2 or more people still alive who are eligible for gift giving as prescribed at Point a Clause 1 and Point a Clause 2 Article 1 of the Decision No. 07/QD-CTN, then appoint one person to receive 01 gifts for the representatives of the martyrs' relatives.
