Innovate training programs in certain oriority technology fields of industry 4.0 in Vietnam

In Decision 374/QD-TTg of 2025, the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam approved a scheme to develop a system of centers of excellence and talent training in technology 4.0 by 2030 with the goal of enhancing teaching capacities, research, innovation, and entrepreneurship for centers of excellence and talent training in several priority technology fields of Vietnam's Industry 4.0 as follows:

- Develop higher education institutions with strengths to become the nucleus of networks for excellence and talent training at the postgraduate level in several priority technology fields of Industry 4.0 such as: artificial intelligence, semiconductor industry; next-generation network technology, smart cybersecurity, and multimedia communication; educational technology; new materials; advanced, smart construction, traffic, and infrastructure technology; biotechnology in agriculture, industry, and biomedicine; renewable energy, hydrogen energy.

- Review, renovate, and develop training programs for training levels in several priority technology fields of Industry 4.0.

- Prioritize deploying national-level scientific and technological tasks associated with doctoral training in several priority technology fields of Industry 4.0.

- Prioritize building and deploying scientific and technological tasks at the levels of ministries and central authorities; support technology transfer and innovation activities for higher education institutions to create priority technology products of Industry 4.0. Focus on researching to create scientific products published in reputable international journals, linking postgraduate training products and creating applied products, commercial products.

- Strengthen cooperation between higher education institutions and enterprises in adaptive training activities for students preparing to graduate or have already graduated, specialized training, and advanced training according to the enterprise's orders.
