This is a notable content of Circular 45/2017/TT-BTTTT regulating the professional title standards for public employees specializing in information technology (IT).
The criteria for the promotion of IT public employees are specified as follows:
- To become an IT public employee Grade I: Must have held the position of IT public employee Grade II for a minimum total duration of 6 years;- To become an IT public employee Grade II: Must have held the position of IT public employee Grade III for a minimum total duration of 9 years;- To become an IT public employee Grade III: Must have held the position of IT public employee Grade IV for a minimum total duration of 3 years.
Additionally, Circular 45 also stipulates the education level requirements as follows:
- IT public employee Grade I: Master's degree in IT, foreign language proficiency level B2;- IT public employee Grade II: Bachelor's degree in IT, foreign language proficiency level B1;- IT public employee Grade III: Bachelor's degree in IT, foreign language proficiency level A2;- ...
