Increasing Support Rates for Participation in Health Insurance for Near-Poor Households

This is the content mentioned in Official Dispatch 5770/BYT-KH-TC regarding the implementation of Circular 02/2017/TT-BYT regulating the maximum pricing framework for medical examination and treatment (KCB) services not covered by the Health Insurance Fund (BHYT).

The Ministry of Health requests provinces and centrally-administered cities to perform the following tasks:

- Utilize the budget savings from reducing hospital salary allocation according to the roadmap to support and increase support for near-poor households, farming households, fishing households, salt production households, and forestry households with an average living standard to participate in health insurance (BHYT);- Direct healthcare establishments to publicly announce their service price lists so that all patients are aware. Renovate and repair healthcare areas and widely disseminate the content of Circular 02 to all relevant officials.- Promote propaganda efforts and explanations so that the public understands that the adjustment in medical service prices is in line with the Communist Party's initiatives, policies, and laws of the State.
