Increase the Prize Levels for Creative Competitions Effective from May 4, 2018

Circular 27/2018/TT-BTC stipulates financial policies for organizing the Vietnam Science and Technology Innovation Awards, the Technical Innovation Competition, and the Youth and Children's Innovation Contest. Accordingly:

Increase the prize amount for the Technical Innovation Contest (including the National-level Contest and the Contests held by Ministries, Central agencies, and localities). To be specific:

- For the National-level Contest, the increase is as follows:

- First Prize from 20,000,000 VND to 50,000,000 VND/prize;- Second Prize from 15,000,000 VND to 40,000,000 VND/prize;- Third Prize from 10,000,000 VND to 30,000,000 VND/prize;- Consolation Prize from 5,000,000 VND to 10,000,000 VND/prize.

- For the Contests held by Ministries, Central agencies, and localities, the maximum reward is 80% of the corresponding prize amount stipulated for the National-level Contest.

Additionally, Circular 27 also supplements the prize amounts for the Vietnam Science and Technology Innovation Awards and the Creativity Contest for Youth and Children.

Refer to the detailed prize amounts in Circular 27/2018/TT-BTC effective May 4, 2018, replacing Circular 52/2007/TT-BTC.
