Increase the level of gift giving to those with meritorious services to the revolution of Vietnam in the Lunar New Year 2021

Recently, the President of Vietnam has issued the Decision No. 07/QĐ-CTN dated January 11, 2021 on giving gifts to those who have contributed to the revolution on the occasion of the Tan Suu New Year 2021.

According to the Decision No. 07/QĐ-CTN of the President of Vietnam, the amount of gift giving to those who have contributed to the revolution is divided in 2 levels that are VND 600,000 and VND 300,000 (increased by 1.5 times to 2020, which were VND 400,000 and VND 200,000). In which, gifts of VND 600,000 level are given to the following people:

- People who were active in the revolution before January 1, 1945 are enjoying a monthly preferential allowance;

- People who were active in the revolution from January 1, 1945 to the date of the August insurrection, are enjoying a monthly preferential allowance;

- Vietnamese Heroic Mother is enjoying monthly preferential allowance;

- People's Armed Forces Heroes, Labor Heroes in the resistance period are enjoying monthly preferential allowances;

- War invalids and policy beneficiaries such as war invalids, class B war invalids, sick soldiers with a working capacity decrease of 81% or more are enjoying monthly preferential allowances;

- Resistance activists who are infected with toxic chemicals and have a working capacity decrease of 81% or more are enjoying monthly preferential allowances;
