Incorporating Entrepreneurship into the Curriculum of University Courses

Recently, the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) issued Official Dispatch 2101/BGDDT-KHCNMT providing guidelines on innovation and start-up activities. Depending on the practical situation, universities are to consider adding specialized topics on innovation and start-up activities to their training programs.

In addition, students participating in innovative entrepreneurship activities will receive significant support from the school and businesses. For instance:

- Consider establishing support centers for innovative entrepreneurship activities utilizing available spaces such as co-working spaces, business incubators, etc.;- Regularly organize internship and experiential activities at businesses to enable students to be exposed to business production activities;- Supplement innovative entrepreneurship activities into the list of scientific and technological activities to facilitate the evaluation of staff, lecturers, and students;- Sign specific programs with businesses regarding innovative entrepreneurship to create conditions for students to orient and develop ideas and projects.
