In 2022: Vietnam has 256,685 officials receiving salaries from the budget

Recently, the Prime Minister of Vietnam has Decision 1575/QD-TTg approving payroll for officials salaries from the state budget of state administrative agencies and payrolls of associations of specific nature operating nationwide in 2022.

According to this Decision, the total payroll of officials in 2022 of state administrative agencies, organizations, and representative offices of Vietnam abroad (excluding the payroll of the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of National Defense and officials, commune-level civil servants in Vietnam), the payroll of associations with specific characteristics operating in the whole country and the reserve civil servant payroll is 256,685.

As follows:

- Payroll of civil servants in state administrative agencies and organizations: 247,722, of which:

+ Administrative agencies and organizations under ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government-attached agencies, and organizations established by the Government or the Prime Minister (which are not public non-business units): 106,890

+ Agencies and administrative organizations under the agencies of the People's Council, the People's Committee of province and district: 140,832

- Representative offices of Vietnam abroad: 1,068

- Total payroll of associations with specific characteristics operating in the whole country: 686...
