The Minister of Public Security of Vietnam issued Circular 28/2022/TT-BCA amending Circular 20/2010/TT- BCA guiding Decree

According to the Circular, important places protected by the People's Police in Vietnam include:

- Foreign Ministry headquarters;

- Headquarters of the Ministry of Public Security;

- Headquarters of the Ministry of Finance;

- Headquarters of the Ministry of Home Affairs;

- Headquarters of the State Bank of Vietnam;

- Headquarters of the Supreme People's Procuracy;

- Headquarters of the Supreme People's Court;

- Headquarters of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics;

- State Treasury under the Ministry of Finance;

- National Historical Museum;

- Headquarters of diplomatic missions in Vietnam;

- Headquarters of representative offices of international organizations under the United Nations system in Vietnam; the headquarters of other international organizations' representative offices in Vietnam to which the Government commits to protect security according to international treaties to which Vietnam is a signatory;

- Vaults, precious metals, gemstones, and other rare assets assigned by the Government to the State Bank of Vietnam to manage and preserve;

- Headquarters of money printing and minting factories and places where the money that does not meet the requirements for circulation under the State Bank of Vietnam is destroyed;

- Central Post Office under the Ministry of Information and Communications;

- CP16 Post Office belongs to the Central Post Office Department.

Circular 28/2022/TT-BCA takes effect from October 1, 2022.
