The hearing protection equipment for employees must meet the following requirements:- Sound pressure level <90 dBA: Noise reduction efficiency of the hearing protection equipment from 10-13 dBA;- Sound pressure level from 90 to <95 dBA: Noise reduction efficiency of the hearing protection equipment from 14-17 dBA;- Sound pressure level from 95 to <100 dBA: Noise reduction efficiency of the hearing protection equipment from 18-21 dBA;- Sound pressure level from 100 to <105 dBA: Noise reduction efficiency of the hearing protection equipment from 22-25 dBA;- Sound pressure level from 105 to <110 dBA: Noise reduction efficiency of the hearing protection equipment from ≥ 26 dBA.

Circular 24/2016/TT-BYT takes effect from December 1, 2016 (The standards stipulated in the Circular are not applicable to individuals working with headphones).
