Hot: All Conditions and Procedures to Support 7 Groups Affected by Covid-19

The Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam has just signed and promulgated Decision No. 15/2020/QD-TTg stipulating the implementation of policies to support citizens facing difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

This Decision specifically stipulates the conditions; dossiers, sequence, and procedures for providing support to 07 subjects facing difficulties due to the impact of Covid-19 as mentioned in Resolution 42/NQ-CP, for instance, for employees temporarily suspending labor contracts or taking unpaid leave as follows:

- Conditions for support: Must meet 3 conditions stated in Article 1 of Decision 15;

- Proposal dossier: According to the Appendix attached to Decision 15;

- Procedure:

- The enterprise prepares a List of employees temporarily suspending labor contracts or taking unpaid leave who ensure the conditions stipulated in Article 1 of Decision 15; requests the grassroots trade union (if any) and the social insurance agency to verify this list;- Within 3 working days from the date of receiving the List requested by the enterprise, the social insurance agency verifies the employees' participation in social insurance and sends it to the enterprise;- The enterprise submits the proposal dossier to the district-level People's Committee where its headquarters is located. Within 3 working days from the date of receiving the complete dossier, the district-level People's Committee appraises and submits it to the provincial-level People's Committee Chairman.- Within 2 working days from the date of receiving the complete dossier, the provincial-level People's Committee Chairman issues a decision approving the List and support funds and directs the implementation of support disbursement.
