List of professional positions and titles in the education and training sector

The professional positions and titles in the education and training sector include:

- Senior Lecturer;

- Principal Lecturer;

- Lecturer;

- Teaching Assistant;

- Senior Pedagogical College Lecturer;

- Principal Pedagogical College Lecturer;

- Pedagogical College Lecturer;

- Principal Practice Lecturer;

- Practice Lecturer.

Based on the above-mentioned job positions and the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the unit, education and training institutions develop a list of job positions appropriate to the actual conditions and development orientation of the unit, and submit it to the competent authority for approval.

Additionally, the determination of professional positions and titles in the education and training sector is based on the following principles and grounds:

(1) Principles for determining job positions:

- Consistency and synchronization with specialized legal regulations in the education sector must be ensured;

- The principles stipulated in Article 3 of Decree 106/2020/ND-CP regulating job positions in public service providers must be followed;

- Leading and managerial positions and professional positions and titles in the education and training sector must be associated with the organizational structure, training activities, scientific and technological activities, and community service activities of education and training institutions;

- Each job position must have a job description, and a competency framework, and be associated with a specific leadership or management position, or a public employee professional title grade;

- It must ensure efficiency, streamline focal points, implement downsizing, restructure the team of public employees, and reduce state budget costs when determining job positions according to professional titles in education and training institutions.

(2) Grounds for determining job positions: The grounds for determining job positions are implemented according to the provisions in Clause 1, Article 4 of Decree 106/2020/ND-CP.
