List of methods for admission to undergraduate programs in 2024 prescribed by the Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training

The methods for admission to undergraduate programs in 2024 prescribed by the Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training include:

- Code 100: Admission based on the results of the High School Graduation Exam

- Code 200: Admission based on high school academic performance (transcripts)

- Code 301: Direct admission according to the provisions of the Ministry of Education and Training’s Enrollment Regulations (Article 8)

- Code 302: Combined admission of direct admission according to the Scheme and other methods

- Code 303: Direct admission according to the Scheme of the education and education and training institutions

- Code 401: Competency and Thinking Skills Assessments exams organized by the education and education and training institutions for the admission

- Code 402: Admission by using the results of competency and Thinking Skills Assessments organized by other units for admission

- Code 403: Cultural exams organized by the education and training institutions for admission

- Code 404: Admission by using the results of cultural exams organized by other education and training institutions for admission

- Code 405: Admission by combining the results of the High School Graduation Exam with talent test scores for admission

- Code 406: Admission by combining high school academic performance with talent test scores for admission

- Code 407: Admission by combining the results of the High School Graduation Exam with high school academic performance for admission

- Code 408: Admission by vombining international certificates with other criteria for admission

- Code 409: Admission by combining the results of the High School Graduation Exam with international certificates for admission

- Code 410: Admission by combining high school academic performance with international certificates for admission

- Code 411: Admission for students graduating from foreign high schools

- Code 412: Admission by combining interviews with other criteria for admission

- Code 413: Admission by combining the results of the High School Graduation Exam with interviews for admission

- Code 414: Admission by combining high school academic performance with interviews for admission

- Code 500: Admission by using other methods

**Notes for education and training institutions:

- Admission method code: The admission method code consists of 3 characters defined by the education and training institution but must reference the admission method codes prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training (in the Occupational page), or the codes specified by the Ministry of Education and Training in Annex I can be used.

- Admission combination code:

+ For the admission method based on the results of the High School Graduation Exam or high school academic performance (using the combination codes as in the method using the results of the High School Graduation Exam), use the combination codes prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training; for combinations including talent subjects, talent subjects NK1, NK2 are defined by the education and training institution.

+ For other admission methods: The combination code consists of 3 characters defined by the education and training institution.
