Hanoi-Vietnam: Failure to conduct comprehensive inspection of the school and pedagogical activities

This is the content mentioned in Official Dispatch 3936/BGDDT-TTr by the Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) on guiding the inspection during the 2017 - 2018 school year.

The Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training requests the Departments of Education and Training to develop an inspection plan and organize the conduction of inspections to ensure:

- It is focused and prioritized, not widespread, and not a comprehensive inspection of the school and pedagogical activities;

- It is possible to inspect multiple contents at one unit or inspect some contents at many units;

- It must adhere to 9 tasks and 5 main solutions of the sector according to Directive 5972/CT-BGDDT, focusing on contents such as:

+ Separation, merger of schools, classes, branch schools;

+ Policies for teachers, education management; training, and re-training of teachers;

+ Democratic regulations in schools; professional regulations;

+ Extra teaching and learning, financial revenues and expenditures;

+ Exams; first-level admissions; educational linkage;

+ Management of examination activities, issuance of foreign language and informatics certificates, and study abroad consulting.
