Guidelines on organizing the implementation of general information survey and assessment for group IV minerals in Vietnam

The organization for implementing the survey and general information assessment for Group IV minerals in Vietnam shall be conducted as follows:

- Individuals specified in Clauses 1 and 2, Article 3 of Circular 01/2025/TT-BTNMT must enter into contracts with a qualified organization to carry out the survey and general information assessment for Group IV minerals according to the provisions specified in Article 4 of Circular 01/2025/TT-BTNMT;

- Organizations specified in Clauses 1 and 2, Article 3 of Circular 01/2025/TT-BTNMT that have sufficient capability to carry out the survey and general information assessment for Group IV minerals as provided in Article 4 of Circular 01/2025/TT-BTNMT may self-implement or enter into contracts with a qualified organization. If they are not capable of conducting the work themselves, they must enter into contracts with a qualified organization to perform the survey and general information assessment for Group IV minerals according to the provisions specified in Article 4 of Circular 01/2025/TT-BTNMT;

- Organizations conducting the survey and general information assessment for Group IV minerals bear overall legal responsibility for the survey and assessment results.

Note:

- Before conducting the survey and general information assessment for Group IV minerals, the organization or individual must provide written notice of the implementation time to the specialized agency on geology and minerals under the provincial People's Committee, and the People's Committee of the commune where the survey and evaluation will be conducted.

- The results of the survey and general information assessment for Group IV minerals must be confirmed by the specialized agency on geology and minerals under the provincial People's Committee, except as stipulated in Clause 2, Article 72 of the Geology and Minerals Law 2024.
