From August 1, 2016, the system providing digital signature authentication services was introduced into state agencies for the use of digital certificates in implementing electronic tax services.

The Department of Digital Certification and Information Security issued Official Dispatch 244/CTSBMTT-KHTC to guide the implementation of new registration and renewal of digital certificates for electronic tax services according to Circular 08/2016/TT-BQP and to request the supplementation of information regarding tax identification numbers.

Simultaneously, the Department of Digital Certification and Information Security provides a User Guide for digital certificates issued by the Governmental Cryptographic Agency of Vietnam for online tax declaration purposes, including:

- Serving as a basis for taxpayers to check the application;- Guiding the use of functions of the online tax declaration system after upgrading to meet the requirements of online tax declaration for administrative and public service units using specialized digital signatures;- Providing detailed guidance on each subsystem of the system and helping users step by step perform the functions;- The guide includes illustrated images to facilitate users in performing the functions of the online tax declaration system.
