Guidelines for organizing the emulation movement connecting with major anniversaries in Vietnam in 2024 and 2025

Regarding the organization of the national patriotic emulation movement and the honoring and rewarding on the occasion of major national anniversaries in 2024 and 2025, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam has provided the following guidelines:

- Launch peak emulation campaigns from now until the end of 2025 associated with major national anniversaries such as: Commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the Founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024); the 70th Anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024); Welcome the Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party and the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress;... to all officials and public employees, workers in agencies and units.

- Continue to promote key emulation movements launched by the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, striving to successfully fulfill the political tasks of 2024, 2025, and the 5-year plan (2021 - 2025) in the spirit of the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party, ensuring practicality, effectiveness, and alignment with the urgent objectives of the Sector.

- Through the emulation movements, widely propagate to the ranks of party members, officials and public employees, workers about the tradition of patriotism, national pride, history of revolutionary struggle, achievements in the struggle for national liberation, construction and defense; propagate the guidelines, policies, and laws of the Communist Party and the State on emulation and reward in diverse, rich, and effective forms.

- Through the emulation movements, promptly discover, praise, honor, reward, build, and replicate advanced examples, good people, good deeds, creative and effective methods in task performance; create a lively emulation atmosphere among collectives and individuals with advanced examples and "good people, good deeds," contributing to pushing back negative manifestations.
