MOH has just issued Decision 1551/QD-BYT on the promulgation of the "Guidelines for organizing quarantine at healthcare facilities for COVID-19 prevention and control".

Based on the results of the epidemiological investigation, the scale of isolation organized at the medical examination and treatment facility is defined as follows:

- Department scale: At the department where a case is detected;- Inter-department scale: When a case has contact with individuals in adjacent departments or within the same area;- Entire medical facility scale: When a case has contact with multiple individuals across departments within the medical facility or when the scope and source of infection cannot be determined.

Note: For cases related to the operation of service provision at the medical examination and treatment facility:

- If related to a single department, apply the department scale;- If related to more than one adjacent department, apply the inter-department scale;- If related to multiple departments, apply the entire medical facility scale.
