The Standing Committee of the National Assembly has just issued Guidance 321/HD-UBTVQH14 on conducting confidence votes at People's Councils at all levels for the 2016 - 2021 term.

According to Guideline 321, the People's Councils at various levels will conduct a vote of confidence once during the regular meeting at the end of 2018 for the following positions:

- Chairperson of the People's Council, Vice Chairperson of the People's Council, Head of the Committee of the People's Council, Chief of the Office of the People's Council at the provincial level;- Chairperson of the People's Council, Vice Chairperson of the People's Council, Member of the People's Council;

Note:

- In the case where a person simultaneously holds multiple positions mentioned above, the vote of confidence will be conducted once for the highest position;- No vote of confidence will be conducted for individuals holding the aforementioned positions if they have held the position for less than 09 consecutive months as of the opening day of the session where the People's Council conducts the vote of confidence.
