Recently, the Ministry of Education and Training issued Official Dispatch 3828/BGDDT-GDTX guiding tasks for the 2020-2021 academic year for continuing education in Vietnam.
Implementing Directive 666/CT-BGDDT and Decision 2084/QD-BGDDT, the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam guides the implementation of the tasks for the 2020-2021 school year for continuing education as follows:
- Strengthen the dissemination and thorough understanding to raise awareness about the position, role, objectives, and tasks of continuing education;
- Continue to strongly innovate state management mechanisms for continuing education and governancontinuing education activities in continuing education institutions;
- Focus on strengthening discipline and order;
- Pay attention to improving the quality of education and diversifying activities associated with innovating content, programs, teaching methods, testing, assessment, and quality assurancontinuing education for continuing education institutions;
- Promote the application of information and communication technology in management, teaching, and learning;
- Proactively respond to the Covid-19 pandemic;
- Closely connect with higher education institutions in supporting open educational resourcontinuing educations, remote courses, and massive online open courses for learners of all ages;
