Guidance on the appointment of professional titles for student counseling officers in Vietnam from November 04, 2024

The appointment of professional titles for student counseling officers in public general education institutions and special schools in Vietnam is guided as follows:

- Appointment to the professional title of student counseling officer, Grade III (code V.07.07.24), for the public employees recruited into the student counseling position and meeting the probationary requirements as stipulated, or other officials and public employees currently performing student counseling in public general education institutions who satisfy the standards prescribed in Clause 2, Article 4 of Circular 11/2024/TT-BGDDT;

- Student counseling officers, Grade III (code V.07.07.24), are appointed to the professional title of student counseling officer, Grade II (code V.07.07.23), when they are identified as successful candidates in the promotion examination from Grade III to Grade II or other officials and public employees with equivalent ranks transferred to student counseling in public general education institutions who satisfy the standards prescribed in Clause 2, Article 5 of Circular 11/2024/TT-BGDDT;

- Student counseling officers, Grade II (code V.07.07.23), are appointed to the professional title of student counseling officer, Grade I (code V.07.07.22), when they are identified as successful candidates in the promotion examination from Grade II to Grade I or other officials and public employees with equivalent ranks transferred to student counseling in public general education institutions who satisfy the standards prescribed in Clause 2, Article 6 of Circular 11/2024/TT-BGDDT.
