Guidance on salary arrangement for public employees in the vocational education sector in Vietnam from December 10, 2024

Public employees are classified into professional titles in the vocational education sector in Vietnam as stipulated in Circular 07/2023/TT-BLDTBXH (amended by Circular 10/2024/TT-BLDTBXH), and they are to be applied the corresponding salary scales issued with Decree 204/2004/ND-CP. Specifically:

- Senior Vocational Education Lecturer (Grade I) - Code: V.09.02.01, applies salary coefficient of public employee category A3 group 1 (A3.1) from salary coefficient 6.20 to salary coefficient 8.00.

- Principal Vocational Education Lecturer (Grade II) - Code: V.09.02.02, applies salary coefficient of public employee category A2 group 1 (A2.1) from salary coefficient 4.40 to salary coefficient 6.78.

- Theoretical Vocational Education Lecturer (Grade III) - Code: V.09.02.03, applies salary coefficient of public employee category A1 from salary coefficient 2.34 to salary coefficient 4.98.

- Practical Vocational Education Lecturer (Grade III) - Code: V.09.02.04, applies salary coefficient of public employee category A0 from salary coefficient 2.10 to salary coefficient 4.89.

- Senior Vocational Education Teacher (Grade I) - Code: V.09.02.05, applies salary coefficient of public employee category A3 group 2 (A3.2) from salary coefficient 5.75 to salary coefficient 7.55.

- Principal Vocational Education Teacher (Grade II) - Code: V.09.02.06, applies salary coefficient of public employee category A2 group 1 (A2.1) from salary coefficient 4.40 to salary coefficient 6.78.

- Theoretical Vocational Education Teacher (Grade III) - Code: V.09.02.07, applies salary coefficient of public employee category A1 from salary coefficient 2.34 to salary coefficient 4.98.

- Practical Vocational Education Teacher (Grade III) - Code: V.09.02.08, applies salary coefficient of public employee category A0 from salary coefficient 2.10 to salary coefficient 4.89.

- Vocational Education Teacher (Grade IV) - Code: V.09.02.09, applies salary coefficient of public employee category B from salary coefficient 1.86 to salary coefficient 4.06.

The above-mentioned salary coefficients will be replaced and applied according to the guidance document of the competent authority stipulated by new salary policies for officials and public employees and the armed forces in place of Decree 204/2004/ND-CP.
