According to Decision 838/QD-BHXH, from July 01, 2017, individuals can register to participate in the use of electronic social insurance (BHXH) transactions as guided below:

- Access the Vietnam Social Security electronic portal, declare and submit the Electronic Transaction Registration Application (Form No. 01/DK-GD) or send a paper version to the social security agency;- If the individual does not have a digital signature, they should go to the social security agency to register and verify information as instructed by the agency;- The social security agency, Information Management System receives the Application, checks the information and is responsible for:- Within a period of 03 days, issue and activate the electronic social security transaction account for the individual and send a notification via email if the individual meets the conditions;- In case the conditions are not met, send a notification (Form No. 01/TB-GDDT) to the individual's email address.
