On July 01 2021, the General Department of Taxation of Vietnam issued Decision No. 1054/QĐ-TCT regulating the management and use of uniforms and cards of the Taxation.
According to the Decision No. 1054/QĐ-TCT, uniform of the Taxation of Vietnam (hereinafter referred to as Tax uniform) is in accordance with the regulations of the Prime Minister of Vietnam, equipped and distributed by the General Department of Taxation to tax officials.
Principles when wearing Tax uniform
- Tax uniforms must be used for the right purposes. Officials wearing tax uniforms must be synchronized and consistent in accordance with regulations; tax uniforms must be neat, clean, ironing, with enough buttons and buckles.
Officials wearing spring-summer uniforms must keep their shirts in pants and skirts (women's). When wearing uniforms, do not wear face coverings, gloves, or masks (unless they are provided for duty or as recommended by the competent agency), do not use other accessories and jewelry which affect the structure of the tax uniform, cause objection or contrary to Vietnamese cultural traditions.
- It is strictly forbidden to write or draw on the uniforms; repair, change the specifications, designs, colors and materials of costumes.
- It is strictly forbidden for officials to use badges, insignia, uniforms and badges of tax officials for personal purposes. Do not use tax uniform when not on duty.
Decision No. 1054/QĐ-TCT takes effect from July 01, 2021
