- If they have not received an over-frame seniority allowance in their previous rank, their current salary coefficient (CSC) in the previous rank will be used to classify them into a CSC equal to or higher than the nearest in the new rank.- If they are receiving an over-frame seniority allowance in their previous rank, the total of their current CSC and the over-frame seniority allowance in the previous rank will be used to classify them into a CSC equal to or higher than the nearest in the new rank;- If the total of their current CSC and over-frame seniority allowance in the previous rank is greater than the highest CSC in the new rank then:- They will be classified at the highest CSC in the new rank and;- They will receive an additional reserved differential coefficient equal to the total of their current CSC and the over-frame seniority allowance in the previous rank.
