From March 1, 2021 in Vietnam: Compulsory civil liability insurance premium of electric scooters is VND 55,000

Recently, the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam issued Circular 04/2021/TT-BTC detailing a number of articles of Decree 03/2021/ND- CP dated January 15, 2021 of the government on compulsory civil liability insurance of motor vehicle users.

According to Appendix I issued together with Vietnam's Circular 04/2021/TT-BTC, the schedule of compulsory insurance premiums for motor vehicle civil liability applicable from March 1, 2021, specifically as follows:

2-wheel motorbikes of 50 cc or less: 55,000 VND;
2-wheel motorbikes over 50 cc: 60,000 VND;
3-wheeled motorbike: 290,000 VND;
Electric mopeds: 55,000 VND;
Mopeds and similar vehicles in Vietnam: VND 290,000;
Non-commercial automobiles with less than 6 seats: 437,000 VND;
Non-commercial automobiles of 6 to 11 seats: VND 794,000;
Non-commercial automobiles 12 to 24 seats: VND 1,270,000;
Non-commercial automobiles with over 24 seats: 1,825,000 VND;
