From July 1, maritime regulatory stations must be equipped with positioning devices

This is one of the requirements for the specialized regulation station of enterprises providing maritime safety assurance services in Vietnam as stipulated in Circular 14/2017/TT-BGTVT of the Ministry of Transport.

The dedicated regulatory station is designed to ensure working and living conditions for the regulatory unit and must be equipped with at least the following equipment:

- Specialized positioning device;- Binoculars; Signal flag; Handheld loudspeaker;- Information reception device of the Automatic Identification System (AIS);- Maritime radar;- VHF (25 W) radio; Handheld VHF radio;- 1000 W spotlight;- 5.5 kVA generator;- Channel condition signal.

Attached to the Circular are also Appendices: Minimum equipment for signal maintenance and measurement, survey equipment.
