The Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) promulgates Circular 22/2017/TT-BLDTBXH providing guidance on the calculation and entitlement of allowances for teachers in public vocational education institutions.

Provisions on the formula for calculating allowances for teachers specialized in teaching people with disabilities are as follows:

- Job responsibility allowance = Job responsibility allowance rate x Statutory pay rate- Teaching preferential allowance = [Salary coefficient + Leadership position allowance coefficient, seniority allowance currently enjoyed] x Statutory pay rate x Preferential allowance rate enjoyed

The job responsibility allowance and preferential teaching allowance for teachers specialized in teaching people with disabilities are paid together with the monthly salary (including summer vacation).

Note: Job responsibility allowance and preferential teaching allowance for teachers are not calculated during periods such as: sick leave, maternity leave exceeding the time limit, suspended teaching, personal leave without pay continuously for ≥ 01 month; etc.
