Formation of documents regulating salary reform in Vietnam as of July 1, 2024

This is the content mentioned at Decision 135/QD-TTg dated January 31, 2024 on the Plan to implement salary policy reform for officials, public employees, armed forces and employees in enterprises issued by the Prime Minister of Vietnam.

Formation of documents regulating salary reform in Vietnam as of July 1, 2024

The Prime Minister has outlined the contents of the formation and completion of documents regulating the new salary regime for officials, civil servants, public employees, and armed forces as follows:

- Forming 3 salary and allowance tables for the armed forces.

- Completing regulations on financial management mechanisms for administrative agencies and public sector units to be in line with the new salary regime.

- Forming a Government Decree on the new salary regime for officials, civil servants, public employees, and armed forces.

- Forming a Decision of the Central Party Committee on the new salary regime for officials, civil servants, Party agencies, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and political and social organizations.

- Forming a Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the new salary regime for officials, civil servants, and employees in agencies of the National Assembly, provincial and district People's Councils, and specialized agencies of the Court, Procuracy, and Audit.

- Forming guiding documents on the implementation of the new salary regime, as authorized in the Decision of the Central Party Committee, the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee, and the Government Decree on the new salary regime.

For the business sector, the documents regulating the new salary policy will be built and completed, including:

- Adjusting the minimum regional wage based on the recommendation of the National Wage Council, as provided by the Labor Law.

- Issuing a Decree on labor management, salary, allowances, and bonuses for state-owned enterprises.
