Focusing on Inspecting and Investigating BOT Projects Nationwide

This is one of the main tasks mentioned in Resolution 126/NQ-CP on the action program of the Government of Vietnam to implement anti-corruption work until 2020.

In order to enhance anti-corruption efforts, the Government of Vietnam requires relevant agencies and departments to implement the following tasks:

- Strengthen and focus on inspection and audit of sensitive areas that have a lot of public scrutiny regarding corruption such as: land, mineral resources; investment projects in the form of BOT, BT, equitization of State-owned enterprises, finance, banking, tax, customs, foreign investment, personnel work, etc.;- Conduct prompt ad-hoc inspections when signs of legal violations are detected, especially those involving irregularities in the implementation of investment and business projects causing losses and social concerns.
