Fixed Timing for Sending Subscription Renewal Messages for Telecommunication Services

This is noteworthy content in Circular 08/2017/TT-BTTTT amending and supplementing Circular 17/2016/TT-BTTTT on procedures for registering to provide information content services on mobile telecommunications networks.

Organizations and enterprises providing information content services on mobile telecommunications networks, when notifying the extension of services to subscribers using periodic services, must comply with the following regulations:

- The notification content includes: Service name, code, service provision number, billing cycle, fee, cancellation method, customer support hotline;- Notification time: From 07:00 AM - 10:00 PM daily.- Notify once every 7 days from the date of successful registration for daily and weekly periodic services, and once every 30 days from the date of successful registration for monthly and yearly periodic services;- If the subscriber has sent an SMS with the syntax to cancel the service, the service provider must send a message notifying the result of the cancellation request process.

Circular 08/2017/TT-BTTTT takes effect from September 21, 2017.
