Fees for processing of applications for sea dumping permits in Vietnam from March 21, 2024

This is a content of Circular No. 08/2024/TT-BTC dated February 5, 2024 on fees for processing of applications for sea dumping permits, collection, and transfer thereof promulgated by the Minister of Finance of Vietnam.

Fees for processing of applications for sea dumping permits in Vietnam from March 21, 2024 

According to the Circular, fees for the processing of applications for issuance, re-issuance, renewal, and modification of sea dumping permits from March 21, 2024 are as follows:

- Fees for the processing of applications for issuance of sea dumping permits: 22.500 VND per application. 

- Fees for the processing of applications for re-issuance of sea dumping permits: 7.000 VND per application. 

- Fees for the processing of applications for renewal of sea dumping permits: 17.500 VND per application. 

- Fees for the processing of applications for modification of sea dumping permits: 12.500 VND per application. 

Specifically: 

- Fee payers are organizations and individuals prescribed by competent authorities in Article 60 of the Law on Natural Resources and Environment of Sea and Islands 2015 requesting issuance, re-issuance, renewal, or modification of sea dumping permits. 

Fee payers shall pay the prescribed fees after receiving the issued sea dumping permits; fees shall be paid to fee collectors under the forms prescribed in Circular No. 74/2022/TT-BTC on forms and time limit for collecting, paying, and declaring fees within the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam. 

- Fee collectors are authorities competent to issue, re-issue, renew, and modify sea dumping permits according to the law on natural resources and environment of sea and islands. 

Fee collectors shall submit all of the collected fees to the state budget according to current state budget regulations. The budget for collecting fees shall be allocated by the state budget in the estimates of fee collectors by state budget expenditure norms and regulations as prescribed by laws. Fee collectors shall declare, collect, and submit the fees according to Circular No. 74/2022/TT-BTC.
