Fees for motor vehicle testing service to increase from October 8, 2022 in Vietnam
The Minister of Finance of Vietnam issued Circular 55/2022/TT-BTC dated 24/8/2022 amending Circular 238/2016/TT-BTC stipulating the service prices for inspection of technical safety and environmental protection for motor vehicles, equipment and special-use motorcycles in circulation.

According to Vietnam's Circular 55/2022/TT-BTC, changes in the service price of technical safety inspection of motor vehiclesin Vietnam are as follows:
- Trucks with a volume of goods allowed to be transported of over 20 tons, tractors with a towing volume of over 20 tons, and special-use vehicles: 570,000 VND.
(Currently, the service price is 560,000 VND)
- Trucks with a volume of goods allowed to be transported in traffic from 7 tons to 20 tons, tractors with a towing volume of up to 20 tons, and other types of tractors: 360,000 VND.
(Currently, the service price is 350,000 VND).
- Vehicles with over 40 seats (including drivers), buses: 360,000 VND.
(Currently, the service price is 350,000 VND).
- Vehicles carrying people from 25 to 40 seats (including driver): 330,000 VND.
(Currently, the service price is 320,000 VND).
- Passenger vehicles with less than 10 seats, ambulance vehicles: 250,000 VND.
(Currently, the service price is 240,000 VND)...
