Fees for appraisal of technical design and appraisal of construction estimate in Vietnam from July 1, 2023

Specifically, the fee for appraisal of construction design is implemented after the basic design, and the fee for appraisal of construction estimate in Vietnam shall comply with the provisions of the fee schedule attached to Circular 27/2023/TT-BTC as follows:

- For construction design appraisal fee, deployed after basic design

+ For civil works, the rate is from 0.019% - 0.165%;

+ For industrial works, the rate is from 0.022% - 0.19%;

+ For traffic works, the rate is from 0.014% - 0.109%;

+ For agricultural and rural development works, the rate of collection is from 0.014% - 0.121%;

+ For technical infrastructure works, the rate is from 0.017% - 0.126%.

- For construction estimate appraisal fee

For civil works, the rate is from 0.018% - 0.16%;

For industrial work, the rate is from 0.02% - 0.185%;

For traffic works, the rate is from 0.012% - 0.106%;

For agricultural and rural development works, the rate of income is from 0.014% - 0.117%;

For technical infrastructure works, and the rate is from 0.014% - 0.122%.

(Compared to Circular 210/2016/TT-BTC, the fee rate has not changed, and there is no longer a regulation on the fee for appraisal of technical design or the fee for appraisal of a construction estimate when the construction agency invites consulting organizations and individuals to appraise together.)

When approved by a specialized construction agency or a specialized agency affiliated with the investment decider, competent to appraise the construction design and deploy after the basic design and construction estimate, investors in construction investment projects specified in Clause 26, Article 1 of the Law amending a number of articles of the Law on Construction, and Article 36 of Decree 15/2021/ND-CP must pay fees as prescribed in Circular 210/2016/TT-BTC.

Investors in Vietnam shall pay fees for appraisal of technical designs and construction estimates upon receipt of appraisal results.
