Fee for inspection of fire safety and firefighting equipment from February 02, 2021 in Vietnam

On January 08, 2021, the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam issued the Circular No. 02/2021/TT-BTC stipulating fee for inspection of fire safety and firefighting equipment and submission, collection, management and use thereof.

According to Circular No. 02/2021/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam, the fee amount is prescribed as following:

- Fee amount shall comply with Fee schedule for inspection of fire safety and firefighting equipment attached to this Circular.

- Fuel cost and other costs necessary for inspection of fire safety and firefighting equipment; inspection seal printing and applying costs shall be incurred by applicants as per the law.

According to the Fee schedule for inspection of fire safety and firefighting equipment attached to the Circular No. 02/2021/TT-BTC, the amount is decreased by 10 times compared to this fee prescribed in the Circular No. 227/2016/TT-BTC dated November 11, 2016. Specifically, from February 22, 2021, the fee amount for inspection of fire safety and firefighting equipment is as following:

- Inspection of motor fire-fighting facilities:

+ Fire engines, fire fighting vessels, boats, ladder trucks: VND 130,000/vehicle;

+ Fire pumps: VND 40,000/piece;

- Inspection of common fire-fighting facilities:

+ Fire hoses: VND 20,000/reel;

+ Fire nozzles: VND 10,000/piece;

+ Couplings, hydrants: VND 30,000/piece;

+ Fire extinguishers: VND 45,000/piece;

- Inspection of fire retardants: Foaming agents VND 30,000/kg;
