Expenditure levels for the synthesis, analysis, and forecast of market prices from July 1, 2024 in Vietnam

Based on the requirements and nature of the tasks of aggregating, analyzing, and forecasting market prices, the agencies responsible for aggregating, analyzing, and forecasting market prices are accountable for allocating their annually delegated and assigned state budget to fund activities related to aggregating, analyzing, and forecasting market prices according to the prescribed contents and expenditure levels. This is to serve the creation of market price reports aiding the management and regulation of prices by the Government of Vietnam, the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam, the Price Steering Committee, and relevant Ministries and Provincial People's Committees, as stipulated in Circular 29/2024/TT-BTC.

The expenditure levels for activities related to the synthesis, analysis, and forecasting of market prices are as follows:

- Officers assigned to directly collect market prices shall receive a fixed monthly travel allowance as specified in Article 8 of Circular 40/2017/TT-BTC;

- Travel expenses for survey, investigation, and market price information collection teams shall be executed according to the provisions of Circular 40/2017/TT-BTC;

- Expense levels for meetings dedicated to creating market price reports:

+ Chairperson: 150,000 VND/person/meeting.

+ Attendees: 100,000 VND/person/meeting.

- Expenditure for office supplies, beverages, document preparation, and printing for meetings shall be reimbursed based on actual, legal invoices and expenditures in accordance with state budget regulations;

- Expense levels for creating market price reports:

+ Specialized market price reports by Ministries, local market price reports: 1,200,000 VND/report.

+ Periodic and ad-hoc comprehensive market price reports by the Ministry of Finance submitted to the Government of Vietnam, the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam, and reports serving the Price Steering Committee meetings: 8,000,000 VND/report.
