The Ministry of Finance has just issued Circular 28/2018/TT-BTC dated May 11, 2018, providing guidelines on the preparation, management, and use of industrial promotion funds.
The organizations and individuals using funds for industrial promotion activities must comply with the policies and limits issued by state agencies. To be specific, the funding for national industrial promotion activities is as follows:
- Support for the establishment of rural industrial production enterprises in areas with difficult and especially difficult socio-economic conditions, not exceeding 10 million VND per enterprise;- The support level for investment in building industrial cluster infrastructure does not exceed 6,000 million VND per industrial cluster;- Support expenditures for the application of advanced machinery, equipment, technology transfer, and scientific and technical advances into industrial and handicraft production, with a maximum of 50% of the costs but not exceeding 300 million VND per facility. For support expenditures for the technology production line, the maximum level does not exceed 1.5 times the above-mentioned expenditure limit.
