The State Treasury has just issued Notification No. 6289/TB-KBNN on the exchange rate of foreign currencies for accounting purposes in January 2018.

The accounting exchange rate between the Vietnamese Dong and the US Dollar (USD) for January 2018 is 1 USD = 22,439 VND (slightly decreased compared to December 2017: 1 USD (US) = 22,451 VND).

Similarly, the accounting exchange rates for foreign currencies such as the Japanese Yen, Hong Kong Dollar, and Thai Baht have also been slightly adjusted downward.

The accounting exchange rates for the following foreign currencies have been adjusted upward:

- 1 EUR (Eurozone) = 26,873 VND (increased by 255 VND);- 1 GBP (British Pound) = 30,297 VND (increased by 172 VND);- 1 AUD (Australian Dollar) = 17,520 VND (increased by 495 VND);- 1 CNY (Chinese Yuan) = 3,447 VND (increased by 50 VND).
