Environmental protection tax rates for gasoline and oil in Vietnam from July 11 to December 31, 2022

The National Assembly Standing Committee of Vietnam passed Resolution 20/2022/UBTVQH15 dated 6/7/2022 on the environmental protection tax rate for gasoline, oil, grease.

In particular, the environmental protection tax rates for gasoline and oil in Vietnam from July 11 to December 31, 2022 are as follows:

- Gasoline, except ethanol: 1,000 VND/liter;

- Flight fuel: 1,000 VND/liter;

- Diesel oil: 500 VND/liter;

- Kerosene: 300 VND/liter;

- Fuel oil: 300 VND/liter;

- Lubricants: 300 VND/liter;

- Grease: 300 VND/kg.

Note: The environmental protection tax rate for gasoline, oil, and grease in Vietnam from January 1, 2023 shall comply with the provisions of Section I, Clause 1, Article 1 of Resolution 579/2018/UBTVQH14 dated September 26, 2018 .

Resolution 20/2022/UBTVQH15 takes effect from July 11, 2022, replacing Vietnam's Resolution 18/2022/UBTVQH15 dated March 23, 2022 and Resolution 13/2021/UBTVQH15 dated December 31, 2021.
