Entities with authority to exploit and use information about housing and the real estate market in Vietnam

According to Clause 1, Article 21 of Decree 94/2024/ND-CP, the entities eligible for and scope of exploiting and using information about housing and the real estate market in Vietnam are as follows:

- Agencies involved in the construction and maintenance of the housing and real estate market database are entitled to exploit data within their management scope. exploit to housing and real estate market data outside the scope of their management must be approved by the authority managing the housing and real estate market information system.

- State management agencies are required to connect and share relevant information on housing and the real estate market to serve state management tasks, investigation activities, and verification and handling of legal violations.

- Agencies, organizations, and individuals not specified in points a and b of Clause 1, Article 21 of Decree 94/2024/ND-CP are entitled to request sharing and providing in-depth, detailed information on housing and the real estate market according to the law on information exploit.

- The authority managing the housing and real estate market information system shall not share or provide information that affects national security, business secrets of enterprises, or personal information, except in cases serving investigation activities, verification and handling of legal violations, and state management tasks by competent agencies.

Note: Entities specified in point c, Clause 1, Article 21 of Decree 94/2024/ND-CP requiring in-depth, detailed information on housing and the real estate market must pay information provision fees as stipulated by the law on pricing. Revenue from providing information and data services on housing and the real estate market shall be implemented according to the regulations of the Minister of Finance.
