This is the latest guidance from the General Department of Customs in Official Dispatch 1511/TCHQ-GSQL regarding the implementation of Decree 15/2018/ND-CP.

Article 30 of Decree 105/2017/ND-CP stipulates that imported liquor must be granted a Receipt of Standard Conformity Declaration or a Certificate of Food Safety Before being imported.

However, the submission of a self-declared product report by businesses in accordance with Decree 15/2018/ND-CP is still accepted for import procedures as specified in Article 30 of Decree 105/2017/ND-CP.

For other products that have been granted a Receipt of Standard Conformity Declaration/ Certificate of Conformity to Food Safety that remains valid, they are exempted from state inspection on food safety upon importation according to Clause 1, Article 13 of Decree 15/2018/ND-CP.

The submission of the Receipt of Standard Conformity Declaration/ Certificate of Food Safety is carried out similarly to the Receipt of Registration of Product Declaration.

More details can be found in Official Dispatch 1511/TCHQ-GSQL issued on March 22, 2018.
