Circular 25/2022/TT-BGTVT guiding the work of ensuring special aircraft and special-cabin flights issued by the Minister of Transport of Vietnam on October 20, 2022.
According to Vietnam's Circular 25/2022/TT-BGTVT, eligibility requirements for flight attendants on dignitary flights in Vietnam are as follows:
- Hold the citizenship of Vietnam.
- Meet the health standards according to the Joint Circular 18/2012/TTLT-BYT-BGTVT. (Additional content compared to Circular 28/2010/TT-BGTVT)
- Have a crew member license issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam with the aircraft type and rating still valid, suitable for the scheduled flight of Vietnam's special aircraft and cabins.
- Have accumulated at least 700 duty hours as flight attendant.
Have accumulated at least 100 flight hours as flight attendant on the dignitary aircraft.
The operator of a new type of aircraft, if requested for a dignitary flight in 01 year since its launch
He/she shall be responsible for assessing the flight attendants’ qualifications by their accumulation of sufficient duty hours, as stipulated herein and report to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam for monitoring.
- Be ethical and well-mannered, have fine sense of responsibility and discipline, have clear personal record;
- Have not made any mistake disciplined by warning or stricter penalty in 12 months prior to the date of selection of flight attendants serving dignitary flights;
- Be approved by the Director General or Director of the Vietnamese airline to serve on the dignitary flight.
Vietnam's Circular 25/2022/TT-BGTVT takes effect from December 15, 2022, replacing Vietnam's Circular 28/2010/TT-BGTVT and Circular 53/2015/TT-BGTVT.
