Elderly People Should Minimize Going Outside and Contact with Others

This is one of the notable contents in Official Dispatch 1386/BCDQG dated March 19, 2020, on strengthening the fight against Covid-19 concerning patients, the elderly, and electronic health declarations.

To proactively prevent high-risk individuals, the National Steering Committee requests that the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities urgently direct and cooperate with relevant agencies to take the following specific actions:

- Advise and specifically inform families with elderly people, those with underlying medical conditions, and other high-risk individuals to minimize going out, visiting public areas, and interacting with others;- Medical facilities should provide long-term medication for chronic diseases to all individuals (minimum of 2 months);- Implement full electronic health declarations or electronic records, initially prioritizing those aged 60 and older and individuals with underlying medical conditions, non-communicable diseases, or other health conditions;- ...
